Setup help for every Formuler box sold by Dreamlinkstore.com. Start by identifying the MYTVOnline version and remote included with your model, then follow the first-time checklist or the video guides below.

Which MYTVOnline version does your box use?

First-time setup checklist

  1. Connect HDMI and power. Use Ethernet when available for the most stable live-TV connection.
  2. Choose the Wi-Fi network when not using a cable. Z12 Ultra and Z12 Ultra SE support Wi-Fi 6E; Z11 Pro Max supports Wi-Fi 6; Z10 Neo and Z10 SE use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.
  3. Pair a GTV-BT1 or GTV-BT3 remote by holding OK and MENU until the LED flashes, then open Settings > Bluetooth Remotes & Accessories > Pair Accessory. The GTV-IR1 needs no Bluetooth pairing. Menu wording can vary by device and firmware.
  4. For a GTV-BT1 or GTV-BT3, configure television power and volume in the Formuler Remote app under Setup TV IR Control. The GTV-IR1 uses infrared learning from the original television remote instead; follow the learning instructions supplied with that remote.
  5. Add your own lawful apps and content in MYTVOnline. The box includes no channels. Ask your provider to confirm compatibility and any device-registration changes before replacing an existing receiver.
  6. Connect USB or microSD storage when supported and when you plan to record or use timeshift.

IR1 versus BT1 and BT3: television control

The Formuler Remote app supports all three remotes for supported customization features, but its TV-control code setup applies to the GTV-BT1 and GTV-BT3 only. Do not use those TV-code instructions for the GTV-IR1. For IR1 television controls, use the infrared-learning procedure and an original television remote capable of transmitting infrared commands. Z mini remote disconnected?

When the Z mini is powered on, press the button on top of the receiver to open its Bluetooth pairing screen. Then hold OK and MENU on the Bluetooth remote until its light flashes white and follow the pairing prompt. This is a re-pairing step, not a factory reset. See Formuler's Z mini re-pairing guide.

Factory reset

Before resetting: a factory reset removes user data and settings. Save the setup information you need and use the backup procedure supported by your exact model before proceeding. Do not assume a backup from another model or firmware version will restore successfully. Keep the receiver powered during the reset, and use Formuler's model-specific reset instructions. Contact us first when you are unsure; a factory reset should not be the first response to a remote-pairing problem.
